Lo Stivale in Trier

Very good starters and the pizza was soooo delicious. The ambience and the service were also good. It's just a shame that there was so little going on because of Corona. Our new favorite Italian in Trier.

I was recently in Trier on business and came across the restaurant by chance on my first tour. Luckily I got a seat spontaneously because the food was really good. The service was very friendly. My food (pizza) came very quickly and was delicious, looked freshly made to me too. The pizza tasted good and the drinks were great too. The menu offers a good selection, everyone should find something here. The ambience was also very pleasant. The hygiene measures were also implemented and attention was paid to them.

The food is acceptable - pizza delicious, salad swims in oil. You don't seem to be so friendly here, as there are probably enough guests passing by due to the good location. Service staff relieve stress or a bad mood among customers. There are much better locations in Trier.

When we arrived we were greeted rudely and then we ordered. Then came the food, the pasta with salmon and chanterelles was not seasoned, the plates were not washed, just cleaned and the salad was missing for the Jägerschnitzel with French fries and the pasta was not through with the pasta casserole. The greatest insolence only came after we asked about the salad and then only came up with a "I'll ask in the kitchen, normally the kitchen extends everything to the front." We didn't get any substitute or discounts. We also ordered Fantas that had all expired.

Not tasty pizzas. Unkind people. Requests 3x supplement for Parma ham extra while the card says 1x. Also does not say sorry, rude. Then discuss it with other guests. Gnocci very greasy sauce

Overpriced pizza without any condiments, cheap ingredients. Scam: the website stored here refers to a restaurant of the same name in Bavaria. Unfortunately the worst pizza I've ever had, not recommended!

Maybe they had a bad day... Made a reservation the day before. Once arrived, the waitress who wasn't very friendly, said they had no reservations on my name. I showed her the mail. She looked at it for a minute and just said OK and gave us a table. It was not even fully booked and "I'm sorry" was a bit difficult I guess. We noticed a lot of things went wrong with other tables too. We asked the monkey 47 gin. After tasting it we both said there was not or maybe just a tiny little bit of gin in the glass. We just tasted the tonic. We didn't complain just to enjoy the rest of our evening. Luckily the pizza was average good. Take away pizza : go fit it. Restaurant : maybe check other restaurants nextdoor ?

Unfortunately not to be recommended. Dishes were prepared differently than described in the menu (different sauce). When asked, they didn't know exactly which sauce was described in the menu for the dishes. In terms of taste, it was not convincing, it was more reminiscent of ready-made meals. Even adding seasoning did not save the taste. Therefore, unfortunately, no recommendation.

Great food and great service!

The ambience is modest, as is the pizza. For a € 13.90 pizza, I expect a little more. Mostly dough (which was good), but little topping. You had to look for the cheese and fig strips, and count the nuts as well. Overall dust dry. I was very disappointed with the Pizza Roma.

We were there today and were the only table inside. Outside there were about 6 tables occupied. The waitress was rude and overwhelmed. At a court, she was unable to translate the main ingredients and provided incorrect information. 1 minute later when I asked if I could have the shrimp as it says on the menu in Italian, she said that it was already sent in the system, even though the kitchen is 5 meters away. Food very listlessly prepared and unseasoned. It's a shame.

Long waiting times, salted bolognese, pizza that has not been fully baked, carbonara with cream - there are not many positive things to report except maybe that the service was friendly.

Pizza was black, my onion soup came out of the bag and the crotains on the soup were overlaid. All in all it was a failed meal with a long wait I really wonder where the good reviews come from !!!!

The starter came quickly and was mediocre. The onion soup had outdated and inedible croutons. Then we waited a whopping 2 hours for our pizza, even though it was only normal operation. Despite multiple requests, we were not given a reason for the outrageously long waiting time. We should have gone. The pizza was average. Totally black baked and inedible rolls were served with the salad. I can't remember ever eating worse with an Italian. The only bright spot was the very friendly service, who was visibly embarrassed by this situation. But she couldn't or didn't want to give a reason for the insolently long waiting time and the poor service. We will definitely never go there again !!!

I assume they were not on a good day..

ATTENTION! Bruschetta with Morzarella. Najaaaa gray bread with tomato and Morzarella balls and a little olive oil ?! A little salt pepper and especially onions with it and it would have been great for a Germanized bruschetta. Pizza = really a dream very very tasty Baked tortellini = very well done and very tasty The service was very friendly and courteous. There was immediately different cutlery! This was very sharp and good. If the bruschetta had been a little better, there would have been one more star.

Highly recommended!!! We were there tonight with 15 people and it was a very nice evening. Super delicious food, very attentive and friendly service and a nice atmosphere. We say THANK YOU for the all-round successful evening and look forward to the next visit!

We visit the Lo Stivale up to three times a month, because here we have the best pizza in Trier. The prices are perfectly fine. The service staff is very attentive and looks after his guests very well. The location is terrific, because the restaurant is located on Moselle. We always go for a walk on the Moselle after eating here. Lo Stivale is a heart recommendation. Definitely worth a visit!
